Type the slate's timecode once and every line carries it. Markers land in DaVinci Resolve by colour, the CSV counts from the take, a clip count rides the meter, and gain is set per input. Nothing leaves the device, which is what a closed set needs. Interviews, meetings and notes get the same machine.
