What D-REC does for free, and what Pro adds

Recordings up to 10 minutes with no account, live transcription, and copying the text. Here is exactly what is free and what Pro costs.

Here is exactly what is free and what needs Pro, so nobody finds out at the wrong moment.

With no account at all: recordings up to 10 minutes, live transcription, 5 colorways, and copying the text. Copying the text is free on every plan.

A free account keeps 3 recordings on the device it was made on, with summaries of your first 3.

D-REC Pro removes those limits. It is $3.99 a month or $24.99 a year, or $39.99 once for Pro Forever, which never expires and does not need the network after the computer has signed in once. A first monthly or yearly subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. On the web, D-REC emails you 3 days before the first charge with the date and the amount; on the iPhone, the renewal date is in Settings. Cancelling takes under a minute.

Bought on the web, Pro Forever and each yearly charge can be refunded in full within 14 days of the charge, no questions asked, from a button in the app. A subscriber moves between monthly and yearly under MANAGE.

Also on Android, Mac and Windows: every way to get D‑REC.
